The counters are reset in the NHL Western Conference play-off final. Led 1-0 by Dallas after Game 1, Las Vegas got back together by winning in turn against the Stars on Tuesday night on the Edmonton ice during the second meeting between the two teams. The Golden Knights, surprised two days earlier in the second minute on a goal from Sweden’s John Klingberg, the only scorer in Game 1, outclassed the Stars (3-0) on Tuesday with this victory by three goals with a laundry. For his return to the cage, Swedish goalkeeper Robin Lehner, replaced by Canadian Marc-AndrĂ© Fleury in match 1 and specialist in the genre (he is already at four shutouts in these 2020 play-offs), barred all the attempts of the Texans (24 in total, against 32 on the side of Las Vegas).

The three goals scored in the second period

However, if the Golden Knights won Game 2 clearly, they had to wait until the second period before materializing their domination and finally finding the loophole. The three goals of this meeting were all scored in this second half., the score was still 0-0 at the end of the first despite the efforts of both teams to unblock the game. The light actually came after 25 minutes of play (five minutes in the second half) with the first goal of the game, scored by Paul Stastny. An opening scoring that launched the Las Vegas festival, and William Karlsson, four minutes later (29th), then Tomas Nosek, in the 35th, followed in Stastny’s footsteps to fold the meeting in the space of ten minutes . The two teams will meet on Thursday for Game 3.
