Aurillac is now launched. Beaten in Vannes during the 1st day last Saturday, the Cantal players took advantage of the reception of Grenoble at the opening of the 2nd day to unlock their counter with a clear victory in front of their audience. However, it was the Grenoblois who struck the first thanks to Benito Masilevu from the 2nd minute. In the corner after a consecutive one-touch combination, the Fijian launched the FCG but it did not last very long. Indeed, six minutes later, the Isère defense did not hold in a maul, allowing Giorgi Javakia to launch Stade Aurillacois in this meeting. Corentin Glénat for Grenoble then Thomas Vincent for Aurillac responded to each other in the exercise of the penalty before Aurillac took control of operations. Same causes, same consequences. On a penalty played in touch, the players of Aurillac were able to form a maul which put the Grenoblois to death. As a result, Luka Nioradze was able to flatten the second Cantalien test without difficulty after only 22 minutes of play. An action on which Thibaut Martel was at fault, leaving the pitch for ten minutes on yellow card.

Aurillac managed his advantage against Grenoblois in the hard

Roméo Gontineac’s players even scored a third try shortly after half an hour of play but a forward pass verified by video refereeing, which made its appearance in Pro D2 this season, came to dampen the enthusiasm of the supporters of the SA, who had only one penalty to eat before the break. A second act where the two teams did not know how to put themselves in difficulty other than with indiscipline. Thomas Vincent at the start of the half and then Anderson Neisen ten minutes from the end of the match added six points for Aurillac, who finished the match at fourteen after the yellow card received by Onehunga Havili Kaufusi, who has surrendered too often guilty of keeping the ball on the ground. It was only two minutes from the siren that the Grenoblois reduced the gap through Thibault Martel. Following a combination in touch, the third-line Isère went flatten but it was too late. Grenoble loses clearly (26-13) and does not confirm its success against Nevers during the first day. For Aurillac, this first success of the season should put the Cantal club on track.
