A change of name, but not only since the event, like the Davis Cup (its equivalent for men), is also changing to a new formula. And here too, the final phase will now be played over a single week. The first edition of the Fed Cup in its new format will take place in Budapest, Hungary, from April 13 to 18. Twelve teams will compete for the trophy and the jackpot, since the overall endowment will amount to 12 million dollars.
