Lille and Nantes were unable to offer a very high level show this Friday evening for the opening of the fifth day of Ligue 1 but the team led by Christophe Galtier must be happy with the result obtained. LOSC won against the team led by Christian Gourcuff. Well in place on the defensive plan, the visitors were able to be dangerous, without however managing to finalize in the last gesture.
Yilmaz killed the suspense
Lille, he opened the scoring just before half-time with a goal against his camp from Nicolas Pallois (43rd). Lafont deflected Araujo’s shot but Celik’s cross was subsequently deflected by David and then Pallois in his goal. In the second half, Lille had the opportunity to build on this advantage in the score but Jonathan Bamba found the post (70th) after a shot from the right. Nantes requested Maignan following a strike from Louza, but the LOSC goalkeeper deflected the ball which was flying towards the skylight (77th).
The northern club then doubled the stake after a penalty converted by Yilmaz who took Lafont against the grain (87th).
The essentials are there for Lille, new leader of Ligue 1 after 5 days of the French championship.
