One defeat but not two! ASVEL, Cholet and Limoges were able to recover on Tuesday by winning their match on the second day of Jeep Elite, after being beaten in the first one last weekend. Honor to the big favorite of this season, ASVEL, who won 85-73 at Châlons-Reims after losing in Dijon on Friday. TJ Parker’s men didn’t really tremble during this game, increasing their lead as the match progressed (40-47, mt). Allerik Freeman (22pts, 7rbds) and Norris Cole (20pts, 4pds) were notably very important for ASVEL, while opposite, no player exceeded 14 points (14 for Matthieu Gauzin). We will also note the 0/10 to 3 points of Jalen Adams, who finished all the same with 13 points (6 of 26 on shots). Limoges, for its part, won 77-65 at Gravelines-Dunkerque. The CSP dominated the entire meeting, getting on the right track from the first quarter (9-17), before being twenty points ahead at the end of the third. Nicolas Lang enjoyed it, with 22 points at 7 of 8 at 3 points. Jerry Boutsiele finished with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Opposite, Cameron Wells had to settle for 14 points for the BCM, which suffered a second loss in a row.

Cholet overthrows Chalon

Finally, one team still managed to win at home: Cholet, who beat Chalon 91-73. Led by three points at the end of the first third, the CB managed a second quarter-time fire, won 29-8, to pass in front (44-26, mt) and no longer let go of the controls. Lasan Kromah finished with the best evaluation of the game (20) thanks to his 22 points and 6 assists. On the Elan side, DJ Cooper finished with 16 points and 6 assists. Not enough for Chalon, who will host Strasbourg on Saturday in the hope of winning his first game of the season.
