Juan Carlos Zevallos, Minister of Health, received this Monday the contribution of 40 air passage kits for the ambulance service of 6 provinces of the Amazon, Adrián Díaz, agent of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), provided the materials with in order to enhance the attention of the pandemic by COVID-19.
The devices provided consists of adult and pediatric masks, pulse oximeter, digital thermometer, oxygen tank with pressure gauge and laryngeal mask, which will gear up the MSP ambulances appointed to the care of medical emergency situations with the Integrated Safety Service ECU 911 in the Amazon region, that includes the provinces of Sucumbíos, Napo, Orellana, Pastaza, Morona Santiago and Zamora Chinchipe.
