The singer wants her followers to see the difference “Instagram versus reality.”
Wearing glasses, a plaid shirt, and rolled-up jeans, pop star Britney Spears shares some “Instagram versus reality” photos.
Britney Spears has said that she wants fans to see her for real, sharing photos on social media to show the difference between “Instagram versus reality.”
The star posted multiple photos of her wearing glasses, a plaid shirt and rolled up jeans, and said she often feels “insecure” when photos are taken without her consent. As a result, she said that she has always focused on her appearance.
Captioning the post, Spears wrote: “Instagram versus reality !! I wanted to show you how I really look on a daily basis.
“I can feel insecure when they take pictures of me that I’m not ready for… so I’ve always put a lot of effort into my appearance.”
Spears often shares glamorous photos and videos of herself performing dance routines at home.
In the post, he went on to say that “sometimes it’s good not to try so hard and knock down walls every now and then … It takes a lot of strength to do that.”
Then the singer added a “fun fact” about herself that fans might not know: She said that instead of cheering, she played basketball when she was in school.
Spears said she was the point guard and “made the decisions,” but added, “OMG, we suck … we only win 3 games every season.”
Last month, the 38-year-old star asked a judge in Los Angeles to allow scrutiny of her father’s guardianship, and attorneys argued that it is in the interest of both her and the public.
Jamie Spears has been in tight control over his daughter’s life since 2008, when the pop star’s public collapse led him to take charge of his personal and financial decisions.
