Ice hockey – Magnus League (J4): Gap and Anglet return to Angers

First defeat for Angers in this 2020-21 season of Ligue Magnus! The Dukes fell on the occasion of the 4th day, on the ice of Nice: 2-1. Sutor opened the scoring in the 38th for the Aiglons, then Chabert widened the gap in the 42nd, and Giroux’s goal in the 50th for the Angevins did not change anything. Angers is just one point ahead of Gap and Anglet, who both won on Tuesday. The Raptors won 3-2 among the Gothics of Amiens: goals from Baazzi (13th) and Frederiksen (47th) for the Picards, doubled by Golicic (36th and 53rd) and goal from Correia (40th) for Gap. Anglet, for his part, won 4-3 after extra time in Briançon thanks to Batna (12th), Hunkes (24th), Ranger (50th) for the Basques in regular time, against goals from Nattinen (31st), Tomko (44th) and Rutherford (60th) for Briançon. Decock, after 2’20 of extra time, gave the victory to Hormadi. Finally, the last match of the day saw the victory of Mulhouse (6th) against Bordeaux (10th) with a score of 3-2. Campbell (5th), Downey (44th) and Loizeau (54th) scored the goals of the Scorpions and Labelle (23rd) and Desjardins (44th) those of the Boxers.
