The Jeep Elite again impacted by the coronavirus! The National Basketball League announced Thursday that the Covid-19 epidemic has again forced it to review its plans in terms of the calendar. Thus, the LNB, after having taken note of the PCR tests to which the players and staff members of all clubs undergo very regularly, had no other choice under the protocol put in place than to postpone several matches to a later date. Three matches are concerned to date, and they all count for the 4th day of the championship, scheduled for next weekend with the match between Gravelines-Dunkerque and Roanne on one side and Le Portel – Dijon on the other to open the prom, Friday evening at 8:00 p.m. Originally, half an hour later (8:30 p.m.) should have started the match between Boulogne-Levallois and Boulazac, another meeting initially scheduled for Friday evening and which was to be part of the three advanced matches of the 4th day of Jeep Elite.

Fourth game postponed for Boulazac!

But that was before the LNB made it known that the arrival of Boulazac to the Metropolitans, still undefeated leader (four games, four wins), is among the three meetings postponed from the weekend. Boulazac, who has still not played this season, still presents cases of Covid-19 within its workforce. For the fourth time this season, the Dordogne club’s match has therefore been postponed. The other two matches postponed to a later date due to the health situation are Bourg-en-Bresse – Le Mans, which should have taken place on Saturday evening at 8:30 p.m. in Ain and Pau-Lacq-Orthez – Monaco, scheduled at the base Monday evening (9:00 p.m.) in Béarn, at the same time as the meeting between Strasbourg and Limoges at Rhénus. Regarding Elan Béarnais, whose entire workforce had been detected positive during recent tests, the postponement was obviously to be expected.
