The coronavirus pandemic definitely never ceases to upset the various sports calendars. In France, the Women’s Basketball League is clearly not spared. Indeed, this Thursday, the LFB announced the postponement of three new matches, counting for the 5th day of the French championship
and due to take place this October 17. Among these meetings, the clashes between Basket Landes and ASVEL and Bourges against Lattes-Montpellier have been rescheduled for December 16. Note that since the start of the season, ASVEL, led in particular by Marine Johannès, had to postpone all of its meetings planned in the elite. In all, since the start of this new financial year, no less than 18 meetings have already been postponed.
Here is the list:
1st day: all six games. Two remain to be played: Bourges-Roche Vendée (November 18) and Charnay-Asvel (November 18).
2nd day: Asvel – Saint-Amand (January 30, 2021), Landerneau – Bourges (October 21), Lattes-Montpellier – Charleville-Mézières (October 27).
3rd day: Bourges – Asvel (October 28), Basket Landes-Roche Vendée (October 28), Charnay – Lattes-Montpellier (November 3).
4th day: Roche Vendée-Charleville (October 21), Asvel-Nantes (November 3), Tarbes-Bourges (November 4).
5th day: Charnay-Roche Vendée (December 2), Basket Landes-Asvel (December 16), Bourges-Lattes Montpellier (December 16).
