Lots of suspense this Saturday during the last two matches of the 4th day of Men’s League A! Montpellier and Cambrai needed the tie-break, but they ended up winning against Paris and Cannes respectively. The Héraultais won their first match of the season (out of three contested) against Paris, in front of 753 spectators and after a meeting of 2:21. They lost the first set, then won the next two, before losing the fourth and ultimately winning the tie-break 15-9. Ezequiel Palacios finished with 15 points (15pts also for Axel Truhtchev on the Paris side). For Cambrai, however, it is the second victory of the season (in three games), and it is Cannes, undefeated in its first three games, which has paid the price, despite great resistance. The Northerners however lost the first two sets, before winning the next two, then the 18-16 tie-break on their fourth match point, and after 2:46 of play. Daniel Cagliari reigned over this match, with 29 points (21pts for Lincoln Williams on the Cannes side).
