Paris 92 will see its European adventure continue. After having clearly taken the best over the Slovaks of Michalovice this Saturday in the first leg of the first preliminary round of the European Women’s League, the players of Yacine Messaoudi confirmed in the return match, still played on their floor at the Palais de Sports Robert-Charpentier Issy-les-Moulineaux due to the health crisis. Without complexes, the Slovaks took this match head-to-head, leading by four lengths after only sixteen minutes of play thanks in particular to Livia Kluckova (2 goals) and Valeria Dulinova (4 goals). A delay in ignition that the Parisian players have gradually reduced, even returning to a length of two minutes from the break.

Paris 92 finished the match better

But Martina Popovcova (4 goals), however, allowed Michalovice to find his locker room with two lengths ahead at half-time. Thanks to two back-to-back goals from Laura Flippes (6 goals), the Paris 92 players were able to equalize just four minutes after returning to the floor. From then on, the Parisian club has continued to race in the lead, dispelling the few doubts resulting from a complicated first half hour of play. In particular led by Joana Resende (5 goals), the Parisians gradually widened the gap to, in the end, win by three lengths (26-29). A success which, added to that of the first leg, allows Paris 92 to qualify without great difficulty for the second preliminary round of the European Women’s League, joining at the same time Fleury and Nantes, who were exempted from it, for meetings which should take place in mid-November.
