Tourcoing maintains its perfect balance sheet. Traveling on the floor of AS Cannes this Friday, Mauricio Paes’ players signed a fifth victory in five days and without a shadow of a doubt. Very quickly ahead in the first set, the teammates of Luciano Palonsky (17 points) and Julio Cardenas (13 points) still had to manage a series of four points which revived the Cannes but the end of the set turned in their favor . Despite a better start in the second round, the Cannois of Lincoln Williams (12 points) were unable to follow their ideas to the end of the day and conceded a hard-fought set in which they did better than stand up to Tourcoing. With five points ahead, Luc Marquet’s players thought they could snatch a fourth set in this meeting but a 10-0 revived Tourcoing to victory in three sets (22-25, 29-31, 17-25).

Paris missed its match against Narbonne

At the foot of the podium, Narbonne did the right thing on the occasion of his trip to Paris. Ahead of the score throughout the first half, with up to six points ahead, Mousse Gueye’s teammates (15 points) however saw the Parisians come back to tie at 23-23 before being able to win the last two points . Axel Truhtchev’s teammates (15 points) tried to react at the start of the second set but the Narbonnais quickly raised their voice and took off to score to clearly win the round. The suspense quickly disappeared in the last set, Guillermo Falasca’s players very quickly making the hole to win without difficulty (23-25, 15-25, 15-25). In the middle of the table and after the suspense, Sète signed against Cambrai his second victory of the season (18-25, 29-27, 29-31, 28-26, 15-13).
