After two consecutive defeats, Provence Rugby conceded a draw at home against Rouen but it is perhaps a lesser evil for the Provençaux. Because the players of Frédéric Paquet and Fabien Cibray totally missed their first half. If Nicolas Bézy quickly opened the scoring, it was the Rouennais who made the game with three penalties from Peter Lydon then, just before the break, a test signed by Paul Surano. Thanks to a new penalty from their striker, the Normans have a sixteen point lead with 35 minutes still to play. At the hour of play, the players of Provence Rugby woke up. After a first achievement signed Charles Malet, Rouen’s defense cracked and conceded a penalty try while Mathieu Bonnot received a yellow card. A numerical superiority which allowed Charles Malet to sign his double and allow the Provençaux to come back in front of the score with three lengths in advance and less than ten minutes to play. But, on a final penalty, Peter Lydon offered the draw to the Norman club (22-22) which brings back two points from this trip while Provence Rugby signs a third game without a win in the league.
