While the meeting between Dijon and Fleury was postponed due to coronavirus, Paris 92 was able to welcome Chambray this Friday as part of the 5th day of the Butagaz Energie League. While the start of the match was contested between the two teams, Yacine Messaoudi’s players waited fifteen minutes to really take the measure of their opponent. Thanks in particular to Mabana-Ma Fofana (6 goals), the Parisiennes took four lengths in advance after fifteen minutes of play. However, led by Jovana Stoijlkovic (7 goals), the Touraine players never gave up, returning to two lengths at half-time

Not wanting to let victory slip away in this meeting, the Parisiennes of Laura Flippes (4 goals) started the second period with a 4-0 which gave them more air on the scoreboard. Thanks in particular to the strength of Léa Serdarevic (14 saves) in goal, the players of the Capital were able to get through the last half hour of play without a major warning. Chambray pushed but the teammates of Linda Pradel (10 saves) could never reduce the gap below three goals, on which the meeting ended (24-21). With this fourth success in a row, Paris 92 seizes second place in the standings ahead of Brest, whose match against Besançon had to be postponed. Chambray, beaten for the second time this season, remains fourth.
