Pep Guardiola has never experienced such a long cycle as a club coach. He is currently going through his fifth season with Manchester City, more than Barcelona and Bayern Munich. Asked about his future at a press conference, the technician said he was happy in England, but that his future, as his job wants, will depend on the results and the fact that his message always goes to his players.

As his contract comes to an end at the end of the current season, Guardiola has indicated his state of mind in front of the media, before the meeting against Sheffield on Saturday in the Premier League (1:30 p.m.). “I’m incredibly happy here, delighted to be in Manchester and I hope I can do a good job this season to stay longer”, he commented while he is still linked to a possible return to the bench of FC Barcelona by the Spanish media.

Agüero, still not available

While he is making the worst start to the season of his coaching career (symbolized by a thirteenth place in the league for City), the native of Santpedor also gave news of the various injuries and Sergio Agüero in particular, who was absent in Marseille Tuesday night in the Champions League (0-3), due to a muscle problem.

“Sergio is still not available to train with us but is improving. Gabriel and Ake are better, Mendy will not be there. We will see what they feel in training. They need to be with the team and if that happens then it’s good to have as many as possible (players). This season everyone will be important, Guardiola pointed out.
