The TV star did not know the control that the surrogate mother could have over her baby in extreme cases.

Khloe Kardashian was “scared” after realizing the “control” a surrogate would have over her pregnancy.

The 36-year-old star has been documenting her journey to have another baby with Tristan Thompson, and hadn’t fully known about the process.

During this week’s episode of ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians,’ the couple, who have a three-year-old daughter, True, met with a therapist.

He asked: “What are your thoughts on fetal reduction or pregnancy termination due to multiple pregnancies? Let’s say the embryo divided and the surrogate mother was suddenly pregnant with twins. “

While Khloe said they would “agree with that,” the therapist noted that it is the surrogate’s body, “so it could terminate the pregnancy with any unplanned outcome.”

The star later said: “I’m definitely freaking out, I think as the questions go by just because I of course know it’s her body, my baby, but I didn’t really know, that means she’s in control if she wants to, you know, finish with the twin. Not having control over that result makes me very nervous.

“I mean, I know it’s her body, but I still didn’t know that it was really her choice and it might be very naive to say it, but I want to say this is a great revelation.”

“I am definitely doubting a few things. It was a bit intense this whole call for Zoom. “

In scenes filmed in the summer of 2020, she then contacted a surrogacy agent, who assured her that there were ways to put things in writing to gain more control over the process.

Tristan suggested that they simply needed to “find the right replacement,” and Khloe responded, “I’d just be releasing so much control.

“I can’t think too much ahead because this is where I am for phase two, I think this is the right choice for us, but I’m not going to rush, I’m not going to force it.”
