Rihanna knows what men want.
Last year, the Bad Gal expanded its billion-dollar Savage X Fenty underwear brand to include designs for guys — but didn’t ask for feedback from her own beau, A$AP Rocky during the design process.
“Are you kidding? Do you know who I am? I’m a control freak”, Rihanna told People at the premiere of her Savage X Fenty Vol. 3, before adding that the rapper approves of the final product anyway.
“Listen, he’s proud of what I’ve been able to achieve and all of my designs,” the 33-year-old superstar told the outlet.
In a further statement of support, A$AP, 32, reportedly attended the party celebrating his lover’s third annual lingerie spectacle, and stayed close to her.
The Savage X Fenty Vol. 3 show will feature appearances from the likes of Cindy Crawford, Emily Ratajkowski, Lourdes “Lola” Leon, Gigi Hadid, Irina Shayk and Vanessa Hudgens.
There will also be appearances from Nas, Daddy Yankee, BIA, Jazmine Sullivan, Ricky Martin, Normani and Jade Novah.
Rihanna and A$AP first fueled dating rumors in January 2020, but didn’t make their relationship public until November of that year — only just making their red carpet debut as a couple at this month’s Met Gala.
And despite the self-proclaimed “control freak” tendencies of the “Love On the Brain” singer, the pair have consistently supported each other’s projects; A$AP starred in Rihanna’s Fenty Skin campaign last year, while celebrating New Year’s Eve in a pair of shoes he designed.
And while the “Fashion Killa” hitmaker would probably be different, Rihanna told People she doesn’t radiate sultry every second.
“I don’t feel sexy every day,” she said. “I don’t think anyone feels sexy every day. I want to get to know that person!”
